Days to Memorial Day Weekend

Meet the Team

Barefoot Real Estate was born to help fill the void of "local" real estate agencies. There are plenty of corporate offices, but very few smaller, more personal entities run by people that live AND work along the Jersey Shore.

We have an intimate knowledge of our town (and the Jersey Shore Area), and a commitment to creating a LOCAL Real Estate Agency that believes in a few core principles: Tell the Truth, Do Your Homework, Follow Through, and Have Fun While Doing it. We encourage our clients and staff to kick off their shoes, sit back, and do the right thing.

Kim Surowicz Allen

Kim is the owner and broker at Barefoot Real Estate. Her family has owned a house in Point Pleasant Beach since 1979. Kim grew up in North Jersey, attended college in New York City, moved to Los Angeles and traveled to many places in between, but part of her heart has always been at the Jersey Shore. After nearly 2 decades in film production, Kim finally decided to settle down at the beach. She met Tim shortly after Superstorm Sandy hit and they ended up rebuilding their home together. They have been happy full time residents and business owners ever since. In addition to Barefoot, Kim and Tim also own and operate Shore Riders Bike Rentals.

TIM Allen

Tim has a reputation of being a Jack-of-all trades. He “temporarily” relocated to NJ from Michigan after Super Storm Sandy to help with the re-build. Within a few months of working here, he met Kim. The rest is history! Tim is a US Navy veteran and the owner/operator of his own local construction business. You’ll find him fixing, repairing or preserving just about anything negatively affected by happenings of people or the corrosive salty maritime environment. It’s also pretty common to find him delivering Shore Riders Bike Rental orders in his truck.

CALI COULTER

Cali Coulter was born and raised in Bay Head and graduated from Point Pleasant Beach High School. Cali left town for college but found herself missing one thing, the salty air of her small little beach town. Once returning home and graduating from Monmouth University, Cali continued her career in the restaurant industry going on to become a General Manager at a shore town classic known as Surf Taco. Cali’s mother, Gail, has since created an eatery of her own known as The Food Shack which is located right on the Point Pleasant Beach boardwalk. Cali decided to take her managing experiences and bring them over to the family business. If it wasn’t for The Food Shack, Cali would have never met Kim, who opened her eyes to the real estate world. Barefoot took Cali under their wing and showed her what it means to be the best agent possible. When Cali is not in the office, you can find her at The Food Shack during the summer season or at the beach, enjoying that salty air she once missed so much.

Mike Corbally

Mike raised 2 beautiful daughters in Point Pleasant Beach and is now fortunate enough to show his grandsons all around town. Mike was a successful business owner and PPB councilman for many years.  He was one of the founders of Barefoot Real Estate in 2011.  After many years of hard work and dedication, Mike now splits his time between PPB and Naples, Florida.  But don’t worry, when he is NJ, he’s still working as a part-time salesperson for Barefoot.

CHRISTY CORBALLY SHENLOOGIAN

Christy Corbally Shenloogian grew up in Point Pleasant Beach and is now raising a family of her own just over the bridge in Point Pleasant Boro. She loves getting to work in the area that she knows best! Christy can often be found out for a bike ride to the beach with her husband and son.

David Nelson

David was born in Newark, NJ and now lives in Monmouth Beach.  While growing up, he would take summer vacations in Long Beach Island for family vacations which is where it all started.  During his college years attending Stockton University, David developed an appreciation for living close to the beach and surrounding shore communities.  Travelling around the world for technology companies, he worked with banks and financial services firms to prevent financial crimes (money laundering, human trafficking and payments fraud) using software.  David has always had a knack for making complicated subject matter easier to understand and that is what he brings to his clients when it comes to buying/selling/investing/renting real estate. He’s always available to discuss your goals and objectives in real estate so feel free to contact him.

Manuela Petzold

Manuela is originally from Germany.  She spent many years in New York City working with a large accounting firm, but always wanted to live near the ocean. She was jealous of her friends who lived at the shore and decided to make the leap herself after several visits to Point Pleasant Beach that didn’t seem to last long enough. Manuela likes helping clients make their beach dreams come true and stays close to her roots doing the bookkeeping for Barefoot and several other Jersey shore businesses.  She can also give you a run down of every ice cream spot along the coast!

TRACY ATTARDO

Tracy Attardo is a Jersey Shore “lifer”. Born and raised in Point Pleasant, she currently resides in Manasquan with her husband and three children. She has a deep-rooted knowledge of the area and all it has to offer. In addition to raising a family at the Jersey Shore, Tracy has served various roles in the community, which provides valuable insight to her clients. She specializes in the ability to help families navigate through the various towns to find the perfect home based on their needs. Tracy also has planning and construction experience as a general contractor for homes in both Ocean and Monmouth counties.

LORRAINE DIGILIO

Lorraine DiGilio is artistic, fun loving, honest and kind. Her first priority is to make her clients happy. One of her strongest abilities is really listening to people’s needs. She strives to achieve the best outcome in every transaction and to ensure that the process is easy and stress-free. Lorraine is licensed in CT, NY and NJ, and has been awarded the Coldwell Banker International President’s Circle Award. She is primarily based in Connecticut, but LOVES the Jersey Shore and spends a lot of time WORKING here and ENJOYING what the area has to offer.

Pete Johnson

Pete has lived in Brick since he was 2 years old.  He spent 4 years in the Marine Corps aboard Marine One and 12 years as an operating engineer in NYC. After years of tossing the idea around and trying to figure out what his next move would be, he finally got his license and joined the Barefoot family.
