We are all aware of countdowns. The countdown to liftoff is always fun. New Year’s Eve provides a whole time zone with a reason to count backwards. We here at Barefoot have our favorite countdown – days until Memorial Day Weekend. The official summer starting point! There might be others that countdown until Labor Day Weekend, but not us. In any event, each countdown marks the time until something good begins or arrives or takes off. Obviously countdowns are “counting down” as the numbers on our clocks get smaller but I’m suggesting a temporary change in the lingo. . Since we’re counting towards a positive event, let’s call it Countup for today. I don’t think it will stick, but it’s never a bad thing to look up and see the great things coming.
