August is the month in which we celebrate a few interesting “holidays” that seem unrelated but could be combined into a wonderful 31 day celebration. The eighth month is home to many interesting holidays: Tooth Fairy Day, Hug Your Boss Day and a personal favorite – Trail Mix Day. But there are three days that should go together in some form to make your waning summer days at the Jersey Shore even better. August 5th is National Underwear Day, highlighted by parades throughout the country. The 9th is Book Lovers Day, which is something many of us need more time for! The 10th is National Lazy Day. I think you see where we are going here. Take time to lazily read a book in your underwear. It might make your August feel like summer will last a little longer.
